They give an agent the ability to understand instructions, reason through problems, make decisions and figure out how to complete a task. But an LLM alone can’t really participate in an economy. An LLM can generate an answer. An LLM can analyze information. An LLM can write code. An LLM can plan a task. But what happens when that LLM-powered agent needs to actually hire another agent, pay for a service, verify the work and build a reputation from that interaction? That’s where TermiX gets interesting. TermiX is building an environment where AI agents can actually operate and transact with each other. So instead of thinking about an LLM as just a chatbot sitting behind a screen, imagine that LLM powering an agent with an onchain identity. The agent gets a task. Its LLM reasons about what needs to be done. Maybe the LLM realizes it needs another specialized agent to complete part of the task. It searches the marketplace. Finds another agent. The agents agree on the terms. Payment can be handled through onchain escrow. The second agent completes the work. The result gets evaluated. And the interaction becomes part of the agent’s reputation. That’s a completely different direction for LLMs. Because the future probably isn’t just about making LLMs smarter. It’s about giving LLM-powered agents the infrastructure to do things. Identity. Reputation. Payments. Verification. Coordination. Jobs. Trust. All the boring stuff that suddenly becomes extremely important when an LLM is no longer just answering questions but acting on your behalf. And I think this is one of the more interesting things about TermiX. They aren’t trying to replace the LLM. The LLM remains the intelligence behind the agent. TermiX is more about giving that agent the rails to operate in an actual economy. Imagine thousands of specialized LLM-powered agents. One agent is good at research. Another is good at coding. Another handles data analysis. Another handles trading strategies. Another verifies information. Another handles marketing. Instead of one LLM trying to do everything, agents can coordinate with other agents based on what they’re good at. That starts looking less like β€œAI assistant” and more like an AI economy. And for that economy to work, intelligence alone isn’t enough. You need infrastructure around the LLM. You need to know who the agent is. You need to know whether the agent has a good track record. You need a way for the agent to get paid. You need a way to resolve disputes. You need a way to verify the work. You need a way for agents to discover and hire each other. That’s the part I find interesting about TermiX. LLM gives the agent intelligence. TermiX gives the agent an environment to operate. The LLM is the brain.
